Review of Wow Skin Science Coconut Super Rich Facial Toner
Review of Wow Skin Science Coconut Super Rich Facial Toner

Although I love taking care of my skin, I have always been minimalist when it comes to the amount of products I put on my face. Even if there are short spells where I would do layering of skincare products one after another (Like Korean skincare regime), that ‘season’ does not last long; I get tired of it pretty soon. But what I truly have experienced in all these years is that a good toner can do wonders for your skin, even if your ‘cleanser’ is just a facewash and your ‘moisturizer’ is just another bottle of the counter. Especially if your skin is dry-normal like mine, a good hydrating toner does wonders to retain the glow on your face. I absolutely loved the thick and gel-like toners from Klairs and The Face Shop (Read their comparison review HERE), but they literally tumble my monthly budget because of their high prices. But toners in my budget are almost all alcohol-based which means they are clarifying but not ‘hydrating’, until I Wow Skin Science released their hydrating toner in pocket friendly price! Read on to see if it could impress me as much as the pricey toners did.

The Face Shop Chia Seed Hydrating Facial Toner Vs Klairs Supple Preparation Toner
The Face Shop Chia Seed Hydrating Facial Toner Vs Klairs Supple Preparation Toner

Hey friends! These days I am very irregular on the blog owing to my crazy schedule with my toddler but I just reminded myself that I need to wave a Hi to you all whenever I find any product which claims to be more than ordinary. I talked some lines about Korean skincare in my last post where I reviewed the much acclaimed Klairs Supple Preparation toner. (Readfull review HERE). Since that bottle is over and there was one more option of “hydrating toner” in Nykaa from Korean brands, I opted for that this time around because I needed to see which one fares better on my skin. OK, just kidding. I opted for The Face Shop Chia seed toner because it was on discount and the Klairs one wasn’t -_- Which made the Klairs one 400 INR more costly :P
This post will be a detailed review of the recent buy and throughout the post I shall be giving comparison points between the two toners. No comparison chart at the end, because then no one will bother to read the whole post (Am a genius, Ah!) :D

Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner Review
 Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner

Korean skincare
has been the buzzword in beauty industry since over a year now and almost every beauty conscious person I know has tried atleast something from Korean beauty regime. Till now, I had only used sheet masks, which I must admit that I absolutely love for a quick glow to the face. However, the long 7-step or 9-step Korean beauty regimen seems like an absolutely unrealistic regime to follow for women who have a career to juggle, kids to take care of and ENDLESS household chores to deal with. If you are someone who follows this long regime alongside doing whatever I have mentioned here, then truly take a bow, woman! Unfortunately, I mostly know people who sometimes do not even have time for normal 3-step CTM (Cleansing, toning, moisturizing) :P So, Korean skincare regime can only fit into weekends or holidays for the likes of us.
Having said all these, I really wanted to try atleast some elements other than sheet masks. So, taking the advice of my trusted friend Tapaswini, I picked up a few products. One of them is the Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner. A “deep moisturizing toner” intrigued me enough since a “budget buy” person like me has always used astringents or toners which leave a tingly sensation on skin and in many cases strip the skin of moisture.
