Hey ladies! Today review will be a sort of
continuation of Elegant Eves’ craze over budget finds. Remember the swatch fest
of Miss Claire liquid lipsticks and
the recent 7 Heaven’s Chubby sticks?
All of them are budget buys which are top notch in quality. So my “budget craze”
led me to get another matte lipcolor for you :D And this time the shade is for
all those who want to venture into orange lip colors but are shying away from ‘in
your face’oranges. Read on girls! :D

Packaging:
The lip colour comes in a silver coloured carton which houses a clear tube with
silver cap. A doe foot applicator is attached to the cap. Honestly, the
packaging looks cheap and the silver lettering on the clear plastic body will
also scratch away with time. The cap does not open as easily as it should like
other liquid lipsticks but secures well.

My
Take:
Alright, so the claim of being a “lip gloss” giving “Soft Sheen” is completely
baseless. This is a liquid lip color
which gives opaque coverage and settles to complete matte :D

The shade is a
rusty orange one which is so wearable that I was amazed. It is not very often
that you come across an orange shade that will suit a long range of complexion
from very fair to very deep and everything in between :D There is no touch of
neon and it is earthier, which is what I love about this shade. The fragrance
is a yummy toffee kind. Here is the wrist swatch

The texture is creamy and applies with stunning
pigmentation at one swipe. It settles to complete matte finish in about 10
seconds. It does not feel heavy lie the Incolor Matte Me ones. After that it is impossible to budge it (Be very careful
while applying that’s why!) It would not wipe away even if you try to apply
water and rub it hard. I only came off at the end of the day when I first wet
my lips with water, applied a layer of coconut oil on lips, let it rest for ten
seconds and then wiped with a wet cotton swab :D It survived the
entire 9 hours :-o I had a heavy breakfast, lunch and tea break in between. The
colour did fade slightly when I had an oily lunch, but it was very much there
even after rinsing mouth. The lips do tend to get a tad dry after a few hours
which can be dealt with a slight touch of chapstick.

Overall, I highly recommend this product for the
days when you want your lip colour to stay on for long. I am eyeing the shades
Passion and Hot Red now :D
