Review of L.A Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer #Medium Beige |
Hello ladies!! If you had ready my last post on L.A Pro Girl HD concealer in shade Warm Honey, you might remember that I said I
have one more shade from the range. Today I will be reviewing that shade and
also give you a comparison swatch between the two shades. Read on to find more!
Product
Name: L.A Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer #Medium Beige
Price: 5$
each and about Rs.550-1350 (On Indian stores)
Where to Get: If you do
not wish to order directly from their official site, Amazon.in is also stocking
these up. I got mine from an Instagram Store
#Nowandwowchennai and was charged Rs.620+ shipping. I found this
store to offer the most lucrative price for these concealers as other
stores I know of are selling these at 800-900 each! Ouch!

Packaging: The cute and handy concealer comes in a
squeezy tube with a brush applicator. A gentle squeeze would bring out the
desired amount and the brush can be used to directly “dab” the product on the
skin. Fingers or concealer brushes can be used to blend the product in
thereafter. I use fingers to blend in the product.

Shade, texture and my take: The shade MEDIUM BEIGE is a true beige shade
which leans slightly towards yellowish . Warm Honey is peachier compared to
this. I get my perfect coverage by dabbing shade Warm Honey over my dark
circles and after it dries up, I apply medium beige to brighten my eye area.
Medium Beige also covers up other imperfections on my face like spots and
blemishes while warm honey becomes too orangey for the rest of my face (I am NC
37-40 in MAC Studiofix foundation and C3 in MAC Face and Body Foundation) As you can see, this shade will suit anyone between
NC 35-42 in MAC (Medium fair and medium-deep)

Coming to the texture, same like Warm Honey, the
concealer is liquid and almost runny. I like my concealers to be liquid rather
than creams or pancakes, because they offer the most natural finish. One thing
to remember though is that you should always set your liquid makeup with
some powder. I choose to use “Lotus ecostay face powder” with a fluffy brush over the concealed areas lightly to avoid
creases over time. Make sure to use the brush very gently so that you don’t
wipe away the concealer!

Pigmentation wise, they offer medium coverage on first light hand application and
then you can build up the intensity as per your requirement to full coverage. For me just a light hand application
followed up with a dab of powder covers up my light dark circles perfectly. And
it stays intact for almost 9-10 hours on me! And there is no creasing too.

Here I have worn both the concealers under my
eyes and on my face. There is no foundation underneath. And no editing! :D Rest
of my face makeup includes some blush, eyeliner and lipstick. Find full details
on THIS post.
