Packaging: This is one thing I love about the Mascara. The chubby bright
purple tube is too cute to ignore and it was easier to spot in the makeup
vanity.
My take: The first thing which I would love to state about this mascara
is the brush. The unique bulb-ended
brush is by far the MOST convenient mascara brushes I have used so
far.

You can use the round part vertically to cover the tiniest lash and then
the straight end normally to brush it out evenly. No issue of excess mascara on
skin! Yay! The texture of the mascara is not something I am fond of. It’s too
dry for my liking, although it causes no problem in application. The color is INTENSE black
(Just like I want it to be).

It is water resistant, but not water proof. It
won’t come off if you splash your face lightly with water, but would come off
easily if you rub your eyes with wet fingers. Now, coming to volumizing and
lengthening claims: NO volume, NO length, story ends! The lashes
would look a bit longer only because there is mascara coat over them, but then,
any mascara would give that much length. Volume? Zero! On my sparse lashes at
least, I could see no improvement. Maybelline Hypercurl gave volume, curl and
length much better. You will get to know once you see the swatches below. But
yes, I do like how
it gives a natural look to the eyes. No clumping, no spidery lashes.
Although, it is insane to expect only that for this price (Can’t help it,
Maybelline has raised my expectations). Only positive point? I would never ever
throw away this wonderful brush! ;)
