Hello beauties! Once in a while we get pleasantly surprised. For a
makeup and grooming lover, it is when she gets quality cosmetics at an
unbelievingly low price. Today’s review is one such product. I am talking about
the Amway Lipstick Tester Pack which is available through Amway
representatives. Since this is going to be a picture-heavy post, I will refrain
from too much blabbering ;)

Price:
Rs.185 for a pack of six lipsticks each weighing 1.1 gm. (So, 6.6
gms of lipstick for Rs.185! How cool is that??)

Package: The six lipsticks come encased in a maroon-brownish plastic
case which fits in the palm of the hand and click-locks safely. Very
functional, very travel friendly: thumbs up! Each lipstick has a clear plastic
lid and a very cute slide-up system for bringing out the lipstick bullet.

Shades:
·
Metallic Bronze: A warm light brown with
very fine golden shimmer which is not visible on the lips but just gives a
pearly sheen. A very wearable shade!

Berry Rose: As the name suggests,
it is a mix of berry and rose pink. Perfect shade for the fall, it is one of my
favorites!
·
Truly Fuchsia: A bright fuchsia.
·
Peach Fantasy: A very pretty peachy
coral shade.
·
Gorgeous Wine: Oh-so-gorgeous rich
wine plum! A total love for me.
·
Red Kiss: A lovely cool toned red.

My take:
This is probably the first product review on my blog where I will use
the term “MUST HAVE”! This set is the answer to every girl’s lipstick variety
issue. It is perfect for beginners who would like to try out different shades
but in a budget, as well as for people who have lots of lipsticks in their
vanity but cannot carry all of them while travelling. The lipsticks are creamy and
insanely pigmented. The wrist and lip swatches are single swipes. It
would be more opaque with double swipes. They don’t have any overpowering fragrance
and they stay on for a good 5-6 hours on me before they fade into a tint. I am
in love with these cute little lippies and can’t stop fawning over them! :D
Cons:
1. Available only through Amway representatives.
2. Transfers on cups and glasses being so creamy.
