First Impressions and review of Fabcurate Website
Website Review of Fabcurate |
Hello! This post is going to be on a very interesting e-commerce website which reached out to us recently for reviewing their website’s services and products. Fabcurate is an Indian e-commerce site which deals in a plethora of beautiful fabrics for you to choose from and “curate” your own style. They were kind enough to let me choose few fabrics from their collection in order that I experience their customer service as well as the quality of their products. Read on to check what I chose, why and how did they turn out!
You can check the website here: www.fabcurate.com
One look into the website and you will realize you
are in a fabric heaven literally! It took me over three hours to choose two
fabrics because I wanted to grab everything! :D From plain, dyed, printed,
embroidered to digitally printed and from cottons, silks, rayon, viscose,
organza, satin, denim, crepe: YOU NAME IT, THEY HAVE IT!
The website’s interface is also very clean and
easy to navigate through. I HATE cluttered websites which make you confused
what to click and what not. Fabcurate
is definitely not like that. The website’s “organised” look would serve as a
bonus to customers choosing fabrics for their projects.
Have a look at the screenshots below I took of some
of the options they have enlisted in the website.

From these mindboggling range of options, I decided
on two kind of fabrics and prints: One is a soothing tiffany blue colored
cotton fabric with tiny white and black flowers printed on it: it reminded me
of the dresses my mother used to stitch for us in childhood J
I think I will make a midi-frock from this. The second fabric I chose is a
lovely lavender colored Japanese satin fabric with white polka dots! I can
imagine myself in a classy and vintage-y satin dress with this fabric J
I cannot wait to get these stitched!
Coming to the experience in placing the order, the
order could be placed very easily on the website and the parcel arrived to my
address barely in four days. The packet was securely packed from outside and
the fabrics were also layered inside a cloth bag. I really liked their
packaging.
Another interesting feature I saw on the
site was “Upload your own design”. Though I haven’t used
the feature myself yet, I think this feature allows you to upload whatever you
would like to get printed on your fabric: How cool is that?!

There is also a wide variety for Men’s fabrics
to make shirts, suits and kurtas. And not to miss their considerable lace
collection with embroidered laces, mirror work laces, sequins laces, gota
patti laces and zari work laces.

Overall, Fabcurate is
a brilliant website for budding designers as well as people looking to make an
exclusive dress from scratch. The fabrics are priced affordably and reasonable enough for people with any budget.
I shall be uploading look posts once my dresses come
back from the tailor J Till then, don’t forget to check the
site out. You won’t be disappointed, we promise!
