Bella Vita Organic Glowey

Hey everyone! Today’s review is of a unique “all-in-one” product that claims to be a face mask that cleanses and scrubs as well. We are all leading very busy lives which leaves no extra time to do tens of steps in our daily skincare routine. Me for instance, can manage only washing my face, applying some toner and slather on some cream most of the days. As a mom of an active toddler who has recently started school and running a successful home-baking business (Check @aynascakewalk on Instagram to see my work), even my weekends are super busy leaving me no time for some lengthy “me-time”. So quite naturally this product caught my eyes. Read on to find what it’s all about and if it did work for me:

Packaging: I absolutely love the aesthetic packaging of Bella Vita Organic products. Their entire range of products’ outer carton has these soft painted florals on them which look really dreamy. Glowey also comes in such a pack which reveals a tub inside and a cute little brush to apply the product.

Experience on using: After the lovely packaging, what impressed me greatly was their ingredients list. I have a tendency of gravitating towards products which have emulsifying things like shea, mango and cocoa butters. Bella Vita Organic Glowey has all of these along with pink clay, rose essential oil and walnut grit. The fragrance predominantly is of rose.

The consistency is soft paste-like with finely-milled walnut grit. The accompanying brush is not scratchy like most face pack brushes. It spreads the pack quite well on the face. The walnut grit is not very harsh on the face. It takes a small amount to cover whole face and neck. In the fifteen minutes that I kept the pack on my face, I did not feel any burning sensation or harsh tingling. The effect was rather cooling. After the mask was semi-dry, I moistened my face with a bit of water and slowly massaged the walnut grit focusing on the area surrounding nose and forehead. My skin is normal-dry and I don’t have any major skin issues apart from occasional dullness. This face mask left my face really refreshed and cleansed. Here’s how my face looked just after washing the mask off. Bella Vita Organic Glowey has definitely become my weekend skincare :D
