Focallure 18 shades Full Function Palette Twilight Review, Swatches |
After reviewing Focallure Tropical Vacation and Everchanging eyeshadow palettes (Check pictures and swatches HERE and HERE), it is time to review the product which first brought my attention to the brand. It is the limited edition eyeshadow palette Twilight. It is by far the most gorgeous palette among the three eyeshadow palettes I picked up and so I saved this review for the last ;) Let’s get started!
Product: Focallure 18
shades Full Function Palette Twilight
Price: Rs. 750/- on sale. Originally for Rs.820 (63 OZ/ 18GM)
Ingredients:
Packaging: Focallure Twilight Eyeshadow palette comes in a
broader rectangle packaging than Tropical Vacation or Everchanging variants. The
cardboard palette with magnetic lid contains 18 eyeshadows and there is no
brush included unlike the other two palettes. The graphics of this palette is
in warm colors and resembles sunset. The inner tray is rose gold colored. The
palette is very lightweight and travel-friendly

shimmer-foils and eight are mattes.

Palace, Sun Ray, Summon, Byzantine, Twilight Lavender, Copper Rose, Sunrise,
Party and Ruby
Matte Shades: Naked, Camel,
Tangerine, Amber, Tiramisu, Magic, Rose Vale and Chili

It will be an
understatement if I say I love the shades of this palette. I am literally
swooning at the utter gorgeousness of the palette! It is a perfect mix of warm
jewel foil tones and complimenting matte shades.
Unlike the
other two palettes which had a mix of better pigmented shades and averagely
pigmented ones, this palette scores highest since all the shades are extremely
pigmented. The matte shades Naked and Tangerine might require a tad bit of
layering, but every other shade, especially the foiled ones are dazzling!

The swatches
here are done without any layering and there is not primer underneath. (The
camera is not doing justice to the intensity of the pigments) You can well
imagine how much they would shine on had there been a primer under them :D I would also suggest using a primer since
foiled eyeshadows would stick for longer when used for party makeup.

I am dying to
use them on my eyes. I would update various looks with this palette on my
Instagram handle. If you want to check those, you may follow me on @eleganteves
