Hello beautiful people! Today we are back with our thoughts on yet another very affordable eye-shadow palette that we picked up in our Sivanna Makeup haul (Check full haul HERE). I have always been a fan of warm shades when it comes for makeup on my eyes. This was the precise reason why I absolutely love another affordable palette that I have in my kitty, the Technic Palette (Read review HERE). But when I saw Sivanna Colors Makeup Studio eyeshadow palette range, I couldn’t help admire the shade selection. I ended up picking shade number 01 because it has all golds, rose golds and bronzes that I love. Without further ado, let’s get into details:

Packaging: The palette is quite sturdily packed in black plastic base and clear lid packaging, housed inside a black carton box. The palette has a double-ended sponge applicator given for application. I like how the lid clicks securely and is not flimsy at all. The palette does not feel heavy and can be conveniently carried during travels.

My take: Before describing the shades, I would like to talk about the texture of these shadows. I might sound biased when I say this because I always love affordable stuff, but there is a definite reason why I cannot stop gushing about this palette. With just the lightest possible swipe of finger, an insanely smooth and buttery texture can be felt. I did not even need to swipe twice to get the desired pigmentation, once was more than enough.

I was still apprehensive because many shadows swatch well on fingers but do not transfer well to the eyelids, but thankfully it was not the case with this beauty. Even without a primer, the eye-shadows did not have any fall-out while application and stuck beautifully on to the lids. Although I will admit that while using with a brush, I had to dab twice to get the desired pigmentation. But the final result was beautiful J

Let us now discuss the shades. Unfortunately, the shades are not named. We shall number them from left to right:

1. A deep taupe brown with loads of finely milled silver shimmer.

2. A warm pink with gold sheen (a rose gold with deeper rose hues)

3. A lighter pink with gold hues but warm enough to be worn by any skin tone

4. A true copper

5. A champagne gold

6. A full blown true gold!

7. A true bronze

8. A true rose gold

9. A silvery taupe

10. A pearly white

A matte brown would have completed this set to act as the crease colour, but at this price, I am definitely not complaining! Let’s look at the swatches.

The shadows also blended beautifully with each other and there was no creasing or fading. The shadows stayed on till five hours on me, post which I will be honest, I wiped them off because it was bedtime :P

Below are some of the eyelooks I created with this palette. For the crease colour which needed a matte shade, I have used the matte bronzer from Sivanna Colors Bronzed professional (Read review HERE) and the Sivanna Cheek and Contour Palette .The eyeliners are also a recent budget-find and the next review is on them :D Stay tuned for that and do let me know if this review was helpful!
