Hello beautiful ladies! I am sorry for the delay in posting this review. By now all of you know my love for budget makeup. There was a serious dearth of affordable makeup in India before brands like Miss Claire and Sivanna Colors came in. You must have seen my haul post on SivannaColors cosmetics, where I raved about them being the best cosmetics under Rs.500 in India. Miss Claire is another brand which I absolutely love! From their FrenchManicure kit to Soft Matte lip creams, I love them all. So, without further delay, let’s get started on our experience with Miss Claire Pearl Eyeliners.

Price: Rs.150-185/- (They sell for various prices with Instagram sellers. Flipkart has highest price tags)

Shades: 01, 07, 08, 09, 11, 14 and 15

Packaging: Tiny cylindrical transparent bottles with applicator which has a long black handle. The bristles are quite fine which creates perfect thin or thick lines! The bristles are not “frayed”. You can carry a bunch of these pretty ones in your purse because of its tiny size.

My take: First of all lets discuss the shades in details:

01 (Black) : A stunning deep gunmetal with bluish sheen. Black is a misnomer.

07 (Brown): A beige-copper shade. Not as much orangey as a true copper but a beautiful wearable version.

08 (Gold): An ultra gorgeous bold gold

09 (Red): An almost matte deep cherry red

11 (Dark Brown): A bronzey brown

14 (Black Green): A beautiful Emerald green

15 (Black blue): A matte royal blue

Out of all these, the ones which impressed me completely with the pigmentation are 1,7,8,9 and 14. Numbers 11 and 15 are a bit runny compared to other ones and I prefer running the brush twice.

Now, these liners take about ten seconds to set and once set they are “Rub-proof”. Also, I have splashed them with water and except number 15 which faded a bit, the others remained same without smudging off. But they came off with a vigorous rub under water. No makeup remover was required. So I guess these won’t be your longest lasting liners L

I have also used them on both upper and lower lashlines with ease and without any irritation. They do not clump at the lashline unlike some black eyeliners I have used in the past.

Overall, I am extremely happy with these liners and plan to get more shades! Below is my favourite look with shade 14 on upper lash line and shade 7 at the lower line J.
