Hey beauties, today’s review will be on a skin
primer which is probably the cheapest one available in India. Primers were not
such a popular or known makeup items even a few years back, but now the
scenario has changed. Almost everyone knows the value of a good primer now:
lessening pores, creating a smooth canvas for foundation and also making the foundation
last much longer! Since I do not use foundation daily, I never bothered about
primers. But recently I did notice some slight open pores and oiliness around
my T-zone L
Also, I did not want to spend a bomb on something I had never used before, so
my frantic search ended at this! Let’s see if it worked for me J

Packaging:
I am super impressed with the packaging. It comes in a white and pale pink
carton which houses a squeezy tube. I love the little black dress imprint on
the box and the tube.

My
take: The first thing I noticed on squeezing out a bit
of the primer through the nozzle of the tube was that it pink shimmers (Whyaaaattt!)
Petrified that I have wasted 400 bucks on some shimmery rubbish, I spread it
out on the skin. And voila! No sign of any gritty shimmer when blended. Only if
you notice very minutely, you may notice some nano shimmers. The slight slip that you feel while
smoothening the primer is probably because of the silicone gel; the gel
instantly mattifies the skin without making it too dry. There is a pleasant
floral fragrance too which is almost non-traceable, so sensitive noses need not
be wary.

One pump was enough to cover the area around my
T-zone and you can see the effect in the picture below. There is slight smoothing of the area.
The primer mattifies within seconds after which I proceed with my foundation
routine. I found that the foundation
does stay on longer and fresher with this underneath. The primer did not break me out and I find
myself wearing this every other day just after my moisturizer and sunscreen
before I apply my compact powder.

However, I
have serious doubts if this primer would work for people with very big open
pores or very oily skin.
My suggestion would be people with fairly normal skin and just
slight open pores like mine and are looking to make their foundation last
longer can go ahead with this primer. It would not
disappoint you. But for beauties with bigger pores and oily skins, it is better
to invest in some other primer.

with large pores)
