Heyya lovelies!! Today I am
sharing with you a recent find of mine while I was browsing through some
Instagram makeup shops. I am really fond of eye makeup and even though I don’t
use eyeshadows on a daily basis, the
sight of a pretty palette always makes me go weak on my knees. Much like how a
new crayon set made me feel back when I was young :D And cherry on the cake is,
when that palette is disbelievingly affordable! Without further blabber, let’s
find out more:
Product
Name: Technic Eyeshadow (Bronze). A palette of six bronzing eyeshadows for a
sun-kissed look.
Price: £1.49
which is about 145 INR plus shipping since it’s a UK brand. I got it for 200INR
from an Instagram store called “AdoreMakeup” J

Packaging:
It comes in a basic plastic palette with transparent lid and the size is just
like a mobile phone only slightly narrower. The lid shuts close VERY securely
and this makes perfect for carrying in purse. It comes with a double-ended
sponge applicator.

Shades:
Before I talk about my experience, let me first describe the shades to you:
There are six shades in total and
they are not named. They resemble the
lighter shades of Urban Decay Naked 3 palette and the Coastal Scents Revealed 2
palette.

1. A pale champagne gold which works great as
highlighter as well
2. A rose gold with more rose than gold :P (My favourite!)
3. A bronzey copper
4. A pinkish gold very similar to the second shade
but just a tad less pink
5. A gorgeous reddish pink with hints of gold
6. A matte plumy brown which is perfect to be used on
the crease.

My experience:
First things first, I was impressed by collection of shades in this palette.
Pearly, shimmery and matte eyeshadow in a compact case which you can carry in
your purse too for quick applications as well: What’s not to love? :D I feel
this is a perfect set for any party look where you are wearing ethnics: these
shades would work with any ethnic apparel very well. I love how they have included one matte brown shade with
which we can blend out the crease to give the eyes more depth J

Pigmentation-wise they are mind blowing! The swatches you see are single swipes and
without any primer beneath. The texture is super smooth and although there
is slight fallout from some shades, it is nothing which cannot be controlled
with a primer. The bronzey shades give
out a pearly sheen instead of “on-you-face” kind of glitters. The matte
plum-brown blends perfectly with a brush and complements the other shades very
well too.

The
best part I found is that the eyeliner
I used (Maybelline Colossal Liner) did
not fade when used above these shadows. The intensity was intact.
The
shadow (without any primer) stayed on my lids for good 6 hours after which I
took it off. With a primer, I am sure this will last a long time.

For
me this palette is a total winner! I am planning to check more from the Technic
range now.

I have used the bronze copper shadows in the middle, rose gold on the outer
edge and inner edge, matte brown on the crease and the champagne gold shade
below brow-bone.
