Hi
ladies! Last Wednesday I had been to Bounce Style Lounge at Indiranagar
(Bangalore) to attend an event organised by the famous Moroccan Oil. For most
of us it is a familiar name since the last year and a half. For those of you
who don’t know, Moroccan Oil is the pioneer company in argan oil-infused beauty
products. Argan oil is a very potent
nourishing and repairing oil and is famous worldwide for its efficacy in beauty
treatments. Naturally I was more than happy to attend the event! Read on to
find my experience:
Being
the extra-punctual being I am (much to the annoyance of everyone around me), I
reached WAY ahead of the scheduled time :-/ I was warmly welcomed by the staff
at Bounce Style Lounge where I sheepishly admitted to being 2 hours early for
the programme. They asked me if I wanted tea or coffee while I waited. So the next
hour saw me clicking pictures of the salon and the Moroccan oil range. Here’s a
look.

My
knowledge of “Argan oil” was limited to only “oil”. I had no clue that they had
an entire range of argan oil infused product line. Just so that you do not
remain as ignorant as I am, here are a few of the products from their range:

Phew!!! That’s one hell of a list, isn’t it?
They have covered EVERY hair type and almost every issue that we face with our
mane.

Alright, now coming to the treatment, I was
about to undergo a hair spa with Moroccaan oil products by a senior stylist at
Bounce who would be guided by the Moroccan Oil representative.

The stylist was a very polite lady who made me
feel comfortable with light chit chat before starting the treatment. She
mentioned that since I apply henna on my hair, my hair has become dry. To which
I said that the dryness give my hair a “lift” and makes it look a bit voluminous.

I was also concerned that any treatment with “nourishing”
Moroccan Oil will actually condition my hair and make it limper. At this point
the lady from the Moroccan Oil company spoke up and told that they have a range
of products exactly catering to my kind of hair. Following that, she instructed
the stylist to wash my hair with the “Extra Volume Shampoo and conditioner” and
follow it up with the “Weightless hydrating Mask”.
And my pampering started :D The stylist was so
gentle with my hair and the massage with the hydrating mask was so relaxing
that I actually felt drowsy. To keep myself awake I kept clicking pictures ;)
Finally when she washed off the mask and styled
my hair I could see an instant change in texture.

Yes my
hair was tamed but in a nice way: It was not greasy at all and all the dryness
caused by henna was GONE!! :-o
Oh yes, I forgot to mention, I also got my
layers trimmed by the stylist before the treatment began :P She did not chop
off my length at all, but just gave my layers some definition.
Post the treatment, I just HAD to get myself a
pic with the wonderful lady who did that magic to my hair :D

Now coming to what I chose to wear to the event
: A royal blue bodycon dress from Van Huesan which was a recent purchase from
Amazon.in. I love how it is not “clingy” inspite of being a bodycon dress. A
pair of kitten heels purchased from Jabong. The silver envelope clutch and the
neckpiece was again from Amazon and the statement ring was from Voylla.com
(Read post here) Yeas yes, I am a total “online shopping” person :P

Makeup: L.A Pro Girl concealer, Lotus Herbals
face Powder, NYX powder blush, a wash of rose gold and brown eyeshadows from Technic
Eyeshadow palette, a winged liner with Maybelline Colossal Liner, Lakme 9 to 5
lip Liner in Beige Pink topped slightest touch of a matte red lipstick and an
MLBB shade from Maybelline and the champagne gold shade from Technic eyeshadow
palette as a highlighter J

While coming back there were no cabs available
and I had to reluctantly take an auto L I was very
sad thinking that now my hair will be ruined! But surprises!! Once I reached my
PG and ran my fingers through my hair, this is how it looked :D For your
reference, here is a before/after pic too. Please note the makeup in the first pic looks better because it was just after application :P Also, I had curled my hair ends prior going to the event because there was no shape in them whatsoever ;)

I was given the Extra volume shampoo,
conditioner and the Moroccan Oil Light for review and consideration which I
would be posting about in a few days time. Each of the shampoo and conditioner
costs INR 1650/- and I was told that they are available only across
professional salons.

If you do not want the shampoo or conditioner but just
want to experience the Argan oil treatment, there are hair spas which range
from INR 1800/- upwards which use these products J
