lovelies! I had gone completely missing since the last few days since the “I-don’t-feel-like-doing-anything”
bug had hit me bad. I am starting all over again with a product I am using
regularly ever since I received it. Yes, it’s part of the YouCannes collection
by L’oreal Paris which you had come across in the blog earlier HERE. You must remember
how much I had loved the Gel Intenza eye liner of the same range (no? Read this!). I had also loved everything about the Swarovski crystal studded lipsticks
from the range but was a tad disappointed with the shade I received, Arabian
Night. See the full review HERE. Today’s review is of a lip gloss from the
range called Coral Encore

My Take:
The
packaging won my heart again J It’s a gold colored tube with the lip color shade
shown in a strip in the center. This makes it very easy to locate a
particular shade in your kit if you own more than one of these from the range.

The applicator is a flat oval shaped one and
it is very convenient for application on even super thin lips like mine.

The shade
Coral Encore is a true coral one. For any normal person, coral might mean
bright orangey red (like the gemstone), but in beauty blogging sphere, Coral is
a bright “carroty” pink. There are miniscule shimmers in it which shows up
only on wrist swatches, but on lips it’s barely noticeable. This shade would
suit wheatish to fair skin tones, I believe. It is fairly pigmented but not opaque enough to cover heavily pigmented
lips.

Also, the gloss stays
on with light snacking too :D super-duper like! It fades away leaving a
light wash of color on lips after heavy meals. There is no strong fragrance and that is something I love about this gloss.

If there
is one thing I do not like about
this gloss it is the price :-/ I would have loved if this was priced at around Rs.
600-650 max!

Riche Extraordinaire Lip color #Coral Encore is a nicely pigmented glossy lip
color and the packaging makes it a collectible. It wears longer and more
comfortable than any other available glosses. A perfect addition to bridal
vanity kit too ;)
