Review of Rimmel London’s Glam’Eyes Lash Flirt Mascara
Hello ladies!!! I am really excited to share this review today
J It is not always that you
get hold of a product which fulfills all the points of your checklist AND is
well inside your budget as well! The product I am talking about is Rimmel London’s
Glam’Eyes Lash Flirt Mascara which I bought while there was a sale
going on in Nykaa.com.

Now, for me and my almost non-existent lashes, I am
always on a lookout for a good mascara which would add some dimension to my
lashes. But for me, to consider a mascara to be “good enough” for my lashes,
there are certain points it has to fulfill:
- It has to be intense black
- The brush needs to be thin
(bigger brushes are a nightmare for my sparse lashes)
- Consistency should be
somewhere between runny and thick. I cannot control too thick formulae in
mascaras and end up clumping my lashes
- It should not make my lashes
look spidery or too artificial
But saying all the above, I also admit that I do not like
spending a bomb on cosmetics always (except rare occasions) no matter how much “worth
the penny” they are! :P Anyway, cutting short the banter, as soon as this
mascara reached me, I knew my search as ended :D

classy black and gold ^_^ I am in love with this classic combo. The golden cap
has lovely pyramidal designs on it which makes it even classier J

My take: The
first thing I noticed about this mascara after the gorgeous packaging was the super thin
brush :D It is the perfect kind of brush to cover even the tiniest
of lashes.

Next was the perfect consistency- Neither runny nor thick,
it covered all the lashes evenly without making them look spidery. Also, the
claims about “lifting”
the lashes were true in my case because it actually did a lot to my
droopy lashes and gave them an “upward boost”. My eyes opened up a lot and the
lashes actually looked bigger (You shall see in the before-after pics).

Another
wonderful thing about this mascara was that the “hold” remained for more than 10 hours
on me, in fact till the time I removed it! With normal watery eyes, the mascara
didn’t run off, but I could wash it off easily with a face-wash. This means
that it is water-resistant but not water proof (Another blessing for me! Hate
the plastic-ky water-proof kinds)

In the pictures below, I have one eye without mascara (but
with remnants of some kajal) and the other pics are of eyes with this mascara.
Notice the difference! In the next set of pics I have done dramatic eye makeup
and used this mascara. Like it??? :D

We TOTALLY recommend Rimmel London’s Glam’Eyes Lash Flirt Mascara for everyone
who is looking for a good mascara within budget. It does offer you all the
lengthening, volumizing and lifting effects that high-end mascaras offer. Go
get it!
