Hello beauties J We do
know that one of the perks of being a blogger is that we get to attend events
held by various brands which are not only enlightening but also super fun :D
But unfortunately, ever since I started blogging, I never got a chance to
attend such events because I belonged to a town where no events took place L But finally I could join in the bandwagon of
events and I was invited by the lovely team of Blogadda.com to attend the
launch event of a world famous hair-care brand Nioxin J Nioxin is a US brand which has gained fame all
over the world for dealing effectively with a very serious and common concern
of everyone-thinning hair! I have been losing a lot of hair recently after
shifting to Bangalore, so just imagine my delight when I came to know that this
event was the launch of a possible “savior” for my hair ;)
First things first! What I wore for the event? ;) I chose to keep it non-fussy. It was a white bodycon
dress I recently bought from Jabong
which is completely comfortable and not at
all clingy :D- Topped it with a purple shrug. Ann not to forget, super comfy beige pumps ;) For makeup, since the day was
very warm, I skipped any BB or foundation altogether! It was just a swipe of
compact powder and an extremely light dusting of NYX blush in Dusty Rose. For
eyes, I used a brown shade from Sleek Au Naturel palette for giving some
definition to the crease-line and then used Maybelline Colossal liner to draw
my favorite wing. That was followed by the matte black shade called Noir from
the same palette to give ever so slight color on my lower lashline and ofcourse
Maybelline Volume Express mascara. For lips, I used Faces Read My Lips lipstick as a tint and then topped with the new L’Oreal lipgloss in Coral Encore :)

OK now, enough of narcissistic
tendencies :P Back to the event ;)
I reached Bodycraft Spa and Salon well before time. It was my
first time there and I was pleased by what I saw. The ambience was very good
and in a matter of minutes I was joined by the two lively Blogadda event
organizers- Ankita and Harish. They made me feel very comfortable and we
chatted away till the other bloggers reached. Once everyone was there, we were
taken in the interiors of the spa were we got to check out all these amazing
products on display! (Just look at the hair color bar!)

Once we got a quick look around the place, we were taken for
the main program. A through presentation by Daisy and Swathi enlightened us on
the reasons of hair thinning and how Nioxin has a system of SIX treatments for
various kinds of hair and their issues :D I was thrilled!

After this, there were detailed consultations by the Nioxin
experts for our specific hair issues and there was also scalp examination.
Following this was the rejuvenating experience of Nioxin products on our hair
:D I would be talking about the product in details after I use it for a month
on myself ;)

We also got to gorge on Subway sandwiches and juice ;) And the
event ended with each of us getting a sample of Nioxin products (specific to
our hair type and issues) so that we can use it and review the effects properly
after 20 days of regular usage :)
