Review of L’Oreal Paris Super Liner Gel Intenza #04 Royal Blue and EOTD
If you have read my earlier post about the L’Oreal Paris
Youcannes collection I had received from their team to review, you would know
how excited I was with it J If not,
you can check the First Impressions post HERE. One of the goodies I had received
in that kit was this gorgeous product! Presenting before you all (drumrolls!)

(I am a bit wary of this 36 hours claim. Who in her sane mind
would keep eyeliner on her eyes for 36 hours? :-o)

Packaging: The gel
eyeliner comes encased in a REAL classy carton in black and gold (one of my fav
combos) The gel is in a glass tub with silver lid and is accompanied by a flat
tipped applicator brush (It is not slanted and resembles the one we get with
Maybelline gel eyeliners)

Texture and pigmentation: This products scores full points in both texture and pigmentation. Soufflé-soft and superbly pigmented, this beauty is here to stay! ;) A tiny amount is needed on the tip of the brush to draw one full line and then you can take some much and reapply to intensify the line a bit more. There is absolutely no pulling of lids and you will actually feel like you are applying whipped cream :D
S-M-O-O-T-H is the word baby!
The shade is one of those blues which instantly brightens your face without
being over-the-top or garish. It is truly a royal blue and I can see
that it can be worn by practically every complexion.

I am not too fond of the brush though! I always prefer thin
pointy brushes for eyeliners and these flat tipped brush never allow me to draw
thin lines. But yes, it completely depends on you as I find scores of women
around the world telling how easy-breezy it is to apply thin lines with such
brushes J You will be lucky if you
fall under that group :D
Have a look at the swatches: These are just single swipe from
the brush.
Down below I have created two different looks with this gel eyeliner and I can see myself creating myriad other looks too with the same. The first one is a summery day look and the next is a night time ethnic look which would go with practically every ethnic dress you own (whether or not it has blue in it!) See how wearable the shade is? ;) Agree?

Recommendation: L’Oreal Paris Gel
Intenza Super Liner in Royal Blue is truly beautiful gel eyeliner which wins in
both texture and shade. A bit on the expensive side, it will be good as a
collectible in you bridal vanity kit J For
college goers and people on budget, there are other pencil or liquid liners in
similar shades priced at almost half which you can try ;)
