Aura Vedic Ritual Skin Lightening Mask #Bridal Haldi |
Who doesn’t want a beautiful glow on their face every day?
Inspite of our stressful life these days, we don’t stop yearning for smooth,
healthy glow we had during our childhood, don’t we? J We all remember the ubtans which our granny and mom made
for us to be used before bath :P Admit it, we hated it then, yearn for it now! The
busy ones like us today often get to apply the real haldi-besan ubtan only
before D-Day! :P So, you can understand how intrigues I was when I received
this pack from the Aura Vedic team for review and consideration. You can check

My take: I have always been partial to
homemade ubtans consisting of haldi, besan, saffron etc to commercially
available chemical ones. But I won’t deny that whenever I see any such product
containing Haldi (turmeric) or papaya, I cannot contain myself! (Read my review
on Gia Bath & Body Works Papaya Body Crème here) This pack claims to contain
turmeric, red sandal, saffron, neem, tulsi and all such kinds of good natural
stuff

I found the pack having a good consistency and
it was not grainy. The pack spread
evenly across my face and neck and I absolutely love the natural fragrance.
It took a good 30 mins to dry to a semi-moist stage as was mentioned in the
packaging. On washing, I was pleasantly
surprised with a noticeable glow on my face! Yay! One point to be
added here is, it gives a yellow tint to the skin which although will add to
the glow of most Indian skin tones, it might
look unflattering on NW skintones in MAC complexion chart; or in a layman’s
words, the tint might not please the pinkish-fair ladies.

On my normal-dry skin, most chemical packs give
a “stretchy” after-feel. But it was not the case with this beauty :D My face felt clean, supple and thoroughly
fresh! I am super-duper happy with this! Quantity-wise, the pack is enough
for 4-5 usages.
Rate: 5/5
Recommendation:
This pack will suit every skin type and gives very good quality at a low price.
The effect is noticeable and regular usage will definitely show better results.
