Review of L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect cream Age 20+
Hello Ladies! Remember how ecstatic I was on receiving the all
new L’Oreal Skin Perfect Cream range a few days back? My “First Impressions”
post has details on the complete range. I will be giving my two cents on the
one I have been using these days i.e. Age 20+ cream.

Price: Rs.99 for 18gm and Rs.325 for 50 gm
Packaging: It comes in a glass jar with golden lid encased in a
white and gold carton. The jar is heavy. The tube variant (18gm) will be more
travel-friendly. I like the "pinch holder" provided at the center of the inner lid :)

My Take: I found
the claims of the cream really promising on first sight at the packet because
it claimed to address all the skin issues a woman in her 20s generally face like
dark spots and blemishes due to pollution and stress. Although I was skeptical
about the “fairness” claim because I do not like fairness products at all, but
I was really hopeful about the anti-blemish and dark spots lightening claim.
This was because, my otherwise problem-free skin is now showing all weird signs
like pigmentation, spots etc as I have entered mid-20s L L
The cream
is light and fluffy. I absolutely LOVE the refreshing fragrance. The
application can be a little tricky because using too much can leave a slight
whitish cast on face. The trick is to use tiny amounts and blend properly. Now,
my skin is ultra-dry (Unlike most women in 20s). So this particular cream is
not much emollient on my face. But don’t let that disappoint you! Once blended,
it really gave me super smooth and FRESH looking skin which remained that way
throughout the day. Just after a week of usage, I
find the lighter spots on my face gone and seriously there is a kind of glow
due to evenness of skin. Just seven days and I get this!
The added
UV filters ensures that the skin remains protected.

The most interesting part about this cream is that, once
blended, the cream gave a smoothening and radiant glow effect on my face which
is very similar to what BB creams give. Only difference being that this is much
better!

You will
understand what I mean to say when you see my FOTD here. In this picture, I
just have L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect cream Age 20+ on my face and a light blush
on cheeks. There are no highlighters, no concealers, no bronzers and absolutely
no BB cream, foundation or compact powder on my skin! J The only makeup products used here is a
blush, eyeliner and a red lipstick.

Do you
see the smooth glow? J Gosh! I
am sooooo loving it! I guess I do not need to give a “Pros and Cons” list as
you can already see how fond I am of the cream. The only catch if any is that
it is tad drier on dry skinned ladies. A bit more emollient ingredients could
have been used J

Recommendation: Elegant Eves recommends this as an all-in-one
solution to ladies with oily-combination skin in their 20s. Dry skinned
beauties can also use it to address skin issues, but might have to follow with
a pat of moisturizer.

I have also used the Age 30+ cream once and found it to be more moisturizing on my skin. I just might incorporate that too in my routine after a week. Will be sharing my experience after a few weeks again :) That’s
