A couple of weeks back, Sonnet Wellness team had contacted me to try out their new release and give my two cents on it. They kindly sent over the whole set for me to use and review. The AM:PM Skincare Ritual set is India’s first prebiotic and probiotic range of skincare products. The products are rich in the goodness of Lactobacillus Ferment Lysate, Glycolic Acid & Aloe Juice Formulated by experts at Sonnet Wellness. Let’s see how it fared!

Packaging: The set comes in a luxurious box which houses the 5 products and the spatula for applying the facemask. The box contains a cleansing face wash, hydrating toner, face mask, serum and face cream.

My take: At first glance I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely packaging, the pastel colour aesthetics of the box and the matte finishing laminate gives a very classy look to the set and this makes it a perfect option for gifting as well.

The order in which they are to be used as mentioned by the brand is as follows: Clean your face with the face wash, apply the face mask with the provided spatula brush and let dry, wash off the mask and spray the toner, apply the serum, and finish off with the face cream. The face mask can be used weekly once or twice and the others can be used on a daily basis.

None of the products have strong fragrance which could irritate sensitive skin, however it is not fragrance-free. There is a mild herbal smell in all the products in this set.

I have used this set about thrice now and I find it quite suiting my dry and mid 30s skin. There is a noticeable glow after following the regimen even after using it for the first time: There is no irritation or skin peeling happening with any of the products. The facewash is not drying and yet doesn’t leave behind that horrid slimy after-wash feel which I get from many “moisturizing” facewashes. The mask is clay based and quite clarifying and yet not overly drying my already dry skin. The toner is not serum like other hydrating toners in the market, but rather a freshening mist sort of. It would be very refreshing on hotter climates when you don’t want a heavy layer of toner on your face. The serum and face cream both get easily absorbed into the skin and gives a “glass skin” like hydration.

Overall, I am thoroughly impressed by the product quality as well the responsiveness of their team when I had a few queries on the ingredients list. I loved how they were not ambiguous about what goes into these products and confidently clarified all my doubts.
