Hey lovelies! I had received this set of Garnier Skin Naturals
White Complete range about a month back for review and consideration and here I
am with a complete and honest review. The products are half used up already as
you can see from the pics. Read on to find how these fared on my normal-dry
skin.

My take: I had been using the “predecessor” of these products
on and off during my college days :D Remember the old packaging? I used to love
them back then because they used to take of of my sun tan to certain extent.
But later, I discontinued using as I found the cream to be less moisturizing on
my dry skin leading to a whitish cast :-/ Also, regular usage of the face wash
was also contributing to the dryness. So back then it became a full stop for me
after a few days of usage.

When I was contacted by the Garnier team to review these
products again, I was bit apprehensive at first, but then decided to give it a
shot J
I been using these two products from the last month and this
is what I feel: The face wash has the typical citrusy smell which it used to
have earlier too. It foams well and deep cleanses. No complains here. It is not
drying on my skin if I wash it off after one minute of massaging on wet face.
However, if I extend that time, I do get a stretchy after-feel. To avoid that I
just use it for a minute J

The white and opaque cream is fluffy, almost souffle-kind. It
blends easily into the skin and I find this variant a tad more moisturizing
than its previous one. It has SPF-19 but I prefer massaging in my SPF 50 gel
onto my skin before application of this cream, because I prefer higher SPF. I
found that this way the product behaves better on my skin. The little oiliness
that comes from the sunscreen gel is combated by this cream and there is no dry
feeling too J

As far as the fairness claims go, everyone of you know how
much I detest this fairness obsession. I wasn’t expecting any such stuff from
these two products either. I just hoped that these should prevent any tanning
or sun burn issues that I frequently have.

I wouldn’t say my face seems “fairer and brighter” after using
Garnier White Complete Range, but I would definitely say that they help
maintain my good skin condition these days (which, by the way, is a result of a
good regime!). The face wash deep cleanses and controls oil in T-zone for some
hours and the cream moisturizes without making the skin oily and has SPF. Overall, a decent pair! Thumbs up!
