Hey beauties! I am back after a huge gap and I am all set for regular blogging again. I had been home for Durga puja and that makes it almost after a YEAR! So apart from occasional photo uploads on Facebook, I kept myself away from my laptop. Thus, after a fullstop to blogging for twenty days, here is the first post of the bandwagon that is about to follow now :) Enjoy!

My love for handlooms and silks is already known to my close friends. I am more of a cotton, linen, silk kind of woman than the trendy bollywoodish “designer” Georgette sarees (You know what I mean). You can check another such post about my love for handloom and silks HERE.

So for this post, it was the brainchild of my blogger friend Krupa who owns the blog Ishtyleawhile (Click HERE). She suggested that I should go for something different other than the good old blouses with this pale peach cotton saree. I searched my cupboard like a crazynut till I fished out this very old chiffon top that I had. It was once a favourite with its sheer cream body and pastel floral prints alongwith ruffles at the collar. But considering the fact that I have “rounded” up quite a bit, I am not able to wear this top with pants anymore (It is a tad too body hugging for my comfort) :-/

Ta-daa! This fact made it perfect to be used as a saree blouse ;) I loved how the peach saree and pastel floral print of the top gelled so well together. Krupa did my makeup and she settled for dewy skin, brownish eye shadows and a peach lip. She also made me wear a pair of silver jhumkas to add a bit of contrast.

Krupa had worn a printed saree with a solid colored crop top. I shall be sharing those pics and the link here as soon as she uploads the post on her blog :D
